Morris Swett collection of photographic prints and negatives, 1869-1958.

Photographs and negatives chiefly relating to Fort Sill buildings and personalities, North American Indians in the Fort Sill area (including Comanche, Kiowa, Apache, Arapaho, Sioux, Wichita, Kiowa Apache, and Cheyenne), military operations, law enforcement, ranching, and some Oklahoma historical events and locations. Most photos have a FS number on them (indicating military photo), and were taken by photographer Swett Soule. Some photographs (mostly postcard images), were taken by Morris Swett. Other entities represented include Bates Studio, Lawton, Okla.
